My Story
Heidi was born and raised in South Africa; her family moved to Seattle 17 years ago. Before moving to Seattle she was a high school PE and Social Studies teacher.

Teaching people to be active and healthy is her passion. She coached high school dance, field hockey, swim teams, and mom-&-toddler fitness classes. She used to do many different exercises and got injured regularly because she was very competitive and had no body awareness. So, she decided to take a few months off and only do yoga. She signed up for her first power class and was addicted. She loves how physically challenging and restorative this practice is.

Heidi did my 200hr Teacher Training with Shakti Vinyasa (Baron Baptiste Inspired Vinyasa yoga), recognized by the worldwide Yoga Alliance in 2014. She has since then added Restorative Yoga and Myofascial release classes to her practice and teaching.
